The story of stuff by Annie Leonard is an excellent video project, showing how materialism is affecting the wold in many more ways than most people would ever think about. It's great to show kids (and everyone else), who apply pressure to continually buy new 'things'. Maybe it will help you to reduce your urge to consume, one that is fueled by insidious advertising.
